Assassin’s Creed 3

Assassin’s Creed III is a video game action-adventure and infiltration developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft end of 2012 on PlayStation 3, Wii U and Xbox 360 and PC under Windows system. It is the fifth main game in the Assassin’s Creed series and the direct sequel to Assassin’s Creed: Revelations.

The game is a historical fiction that takes place before, during and after the American Revolution from 1753 to 1783 and its hero is a young man of British and Mohawk named Connor. The game continues the story of the struggle between the ancient Assassins, freedom fighter, and the Knights Templar, fighting for control in the young nation would become the United States of America. As in other games in the series, Assassin’s Creed III also contains a playable game taking place in the twenty-first century, where the protagonist of the series, Desmond Miles, trying to prevent the end of the world 2012.

The game is immediately following Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. Desmond Miles and his allies arrive at the Temple indicated by the First Civilization. Inside, they are faced with a large door that opens only with a key. Desmond suddenly reached a new crisis and must return to the Animus to relive the memories of Connor Kenway, a young man of the Mohawk tribe, born in the eighteenth century in colonial America to the union of a father English and a Native American mother. When his village is burned by the British, he leaves to join the Brotherhood of Assassins, he recruited 6 and take part in the American Revolution. Over a period spanning more than three decades, Connor participates in numerous historical events and explore cities like Boston and New York, and an intermediate region called Frontier where is his village. Philadelphia is also visible at one time of the game, while Connor also explores the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea during naval missions.

The game continues the series used to offer the player an open world (open world) and a third-person view. However, the dimensions of the playing area is the largest series to date, the map of the « Frontier » alone is larger than that of Rome in Brotherhood10. The environment in which the characters move is more realistic than in other games in the series, with greater interactivity with the player’s non-player characters (NPCs), which react to the events unfolding before them (eg, a thief who steals an apple is noticed by the salesman who grabs her arm and called the guard. A bandwidth gets the fruit that has fallen and makes the trader when the soldiers forced the thief to pay its apple). NPCs have their own occupations, non-redundant, who are upset at the slightest violent intervention by the player or the guards.

The enemies are much more varied than before, since they belong to different armies: the regular British army, the navy, the Continental Army, Loyalists and Patriots. So every army and every grade has the appearance and / or a single uniform (within the same group of the same army, some soldiers displayed a hat, helmet, scarf, etc..), Coupled with technical combat characteristics, depending on whether the player has to make a soldier, grenadier, an officer, a tax collector, a Jäger, a minutemen, a drum, a flagpole, etc.. Among Native Americans, Iroquois and Algonquin peoples are represented, with Abenaki communities, Lenape, Shawnee, Mohawks, etc..

The mode of « exploration » was also changed, allowing parts of the map to be explored without requiring a synchronization point, as the game features an overhaul of how « fast moving » 4.3. The architecture of the city and the forest is American in every respect different from those of the cities of the Italian Renaissance, the developers have neglected a « vertical » model (tall buildings, churches, cathedrals, minarets, etc.). Previous opus mapping for a more « horizontal » (houses have little or no floor monuments are less tall), while greatly increasing the surface jeu9 3. Frontier also creates a great novelty, because it is almost entirely a map « organic » and « natural », while the character evolved in environments previously urbains10.
